Our Services

At Meridian Medical & Associates, we offer a wide range of services, including primary care, family medicine, and specialized services for veterans and active military members.

Our mission is to help you maintain a high quality of life through best health practices, and our entire staff is dedicated to this goal. We offer comprehensive solutions to meet all of your health needs.

Primary Care

Our physicians offer primary care for patients that includes health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment for common illnesses/injuries. Visiting our office allows patients to present their health concerns with our Board-Certified doctors one-on-one for the best treatment available. We advise patients with any health-related issues and select a tailored treatment plan to target their health concerns.

Family Medicine

At our patient-centered practice, our doctors specialize in family medicine. We provide comprehensive health care to patients of all ages through different stages of their life. Our doctors develop meaningful relationships with patients to help them understand, manage, and prevent illness. We are the first method of contact for any health concerns, and issue the best treatment plans for our patients.

DOT Exams

Department of Transportation (DOT) exams are mandated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). This physical assessment applies to commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers to determine whether they are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to drive a CMV. Our exams test a driver’s vision, blood pressure, and reviews all previous medical history to ensure they can safely operate the vehicles.

Sports Physicals

Sports physicals determine whether an athlete can physically participate in a sport safely. During this exam, we will conduct an overall physical including checking your ears, nose, throat, lungs, and heart. In addition, sports physicals evaluate several other factors such as your posture, strength, joints, and flexibility. Our highly-trained physicians ensure patients are healthy and safe to participate in new sports.

In-office PHA/MHA

Service members are required to complete an annual physical called the Periodic Health Assessment (PHA). We conduct these physicals for Reservists and National Guard members to evaluate their medical health status. These exams cover self-reported health statuses, documentation of vitals including height, weight, BP, vision screening, and any current medical conditions.

Compensation and Pension Exams for veterans

Our physicians administer Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams in our office for disability evaluation. We assess and document the current severity of the condition. During our evaluations, we conduct tests for psychological conditions and examine physical conditions through medical tests and lab work if necessary.
